The PADI Rescue Diver course teaches you techniques to avoid and manage problems and improve your confidence as a diver. During the course you’ll become a better buddy by enhancing your ability to identify potential problems and by practicing dive emergency protocol. The subject is serious but the training is fun – many divers tell us the PADI Rescue Diver course was their favorite!. Practical training fees, dives, dive equipment, student slate and logbook are available at additional fees at Crystal Blue Diving.

This course expands on what you already know about how to identify and prevent problems and how to manage them if they occur, helping you to become more confident in your skills and a better dive buddy. This is a fun and challenging course, rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken. You Will Learn: Self rescue, Recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management and equipment, Rescuing panicked divers, Rescuing unresponsive divers. Course starts with study materials and progresses to 2 days of open water dives.
Prerequisites:(Junior) Adventure Diver (or Advanced Open Water), 12 years old and current CPR and First Aid (see EFR class)
Materials: The web-based eLearning system
Equipment: You will need basic scuba equipment suitable for the diving enviornment. You can rent basic scuba equipment from Crystal Blue Diving at a discounted rate of $50 for the class.

eLearning course fee: $211.00 paid directly to PADI for access to the on-line materials and videos. Enroll online by clicking the e-learning button below. *This course fee only covers your online training, assessments and certification card. Includes the on-line training materials for up to one year, with unlimited access to the Rescue Diver on-line manual. Certification fee is included
$189.00 paid to Crystal Blue Diving for hands-on training scenarios two days Open Water Dives.
Prerequisites: 12 years old PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver rating or higher.
