The Advanced Adventure Diver course takes you beyond Adventure Diver. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it. You can take it immediately after Open Water Diver course. The Advanced Adventure Diver course helps you build your confidence and begin to hone your scuba skills so you can become a more comfortable and confident diver in the water. You are continuing to learn under the direct supervision of your instructor. This course builds on what you’ve learned in the Open Water course and develops new skills by introducing you to new experiences, improving your scuba diving experience. The Advanced Adventure course will give you an overview of five different specialties.Two of the required specialties are the Deep Diver and Navigation Diver specialties which are the foundation of continuing diver education. This course is intended to introduce you to each of the five specialties selected; not complete comprehension of the chosen specialty. One dive from each of the chosen specialties may apply towards the completion of a specialty certification.

Materials: eLearning materials included in the course fee.
Prerequisites: Open Water Diver and 12 years old.
Equipment: Beyond basic scuba equipment appropriate for the diving environment, you’ll need a compass, dive knife, dive slate, audible surface signaling device and dive computer. You’ll also use specialized gear depending on the Adventure Dives you choose. Your Crystal Blue Diving professional will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear, such as a dive light for night diving or lift bag for search and recovery. You can also rent a full set of basic scuba equipment from Crystal Blue Diving for the class at a discounted rate of $50 for the weekend.
