“Challenging” and “rewarding” best describe the PADI Rescue Diver course. Building upon what you’ve already learned, this course expands on what you already know about how to identify and prevent problems and how to manage them if they occur, helping you to become more confident in your skills and a better dive buddy. This is a fun and challenging course, rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken. You Will Learn: Self rescue, Recognizing and managing stress in other divers, Emergency management and equipment, Rescuing panicked divers, Rescuing unresponsive divers. Course starts with study materials and progresses to 2 days of open water dives.
Equipment: You will need basic scuba equipment suitable for the diving enviornment. You can rent basic scuba equipment from Crystal Blue Diving at a discounted rate of $50 for the class.
Materials:Crew-pak Rescue Diver with EFR/CPR mask $87.70
Prerequisites:(Junior) Adventure Diver (or Advanced Open Water), 12 years old and current CPR and First Aid (see EFR class)
