This Underwater Photography course helps you easily achieve great photo and video results. This course also counts towards the Advanced Open Water Diver course and your Master Scuba Diver rating. *This course fee only covers your online training, assessments and certification card. Practical training fees, dives, dive equipment, student slate and logbook are available at additional fees at Crystal Blue Diving.
You’ll complete the PADI Digital Underwater Photography course online which includes two Knowledge Reviews. Your PADI Instructor will answer any questions you may have. Next you’ll make two dives shooting underwater imagery. Then, you'll learn how to download, back up, organize and edit your images.
You’ll learn basic principles of composition, how to prevent backscatter, and the best ways to photograph different types of marine life, divers, and underwater seascapes. You’ll also learn editing techniques, and how a little pre-planning can help create a story. You’ll have two underwater photo dives with your PADI Instructor, who can also help you choose an underwater camera system, or sort out how to use the one you’ve already bought.
Equipment: You will need basic scuba equipment suitable for the diving enviornment. You can rent basic scuba equipment from Crystal Blue Diving at a discounted rate of $25 for the day. You will also need an underwater camera and housing. Crystal Blue Diving can provide you with an Olympus TG-6 camera and housing for the class.

$60.00 paid to Crystal Blue Diving for hands-on review, camera usage and two Open Water Dives.
Prerequisites: 12 years old PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver rating or higher.
